Macau

hello
well As my visa for hong kong was expired I had to leave so I went to Macau.
I like macau not so crowd as Hong Kong, people are kind (except taxi driver in rush hour; if you don't know where to go in chinese they just ask you to get out...)and macau is quite nice for sightseeing(small but nice).A nice thing to do is also to go to the outlying islands:Taipai and Coloane it don't take so much time and it's very nice and quite calm because there are not so many people.
Unfortunatly things didn't go so good there because I lost my passport....
so after a lot of paper work, phone call, run in and out to the policie station and immigration office and (thanks to my parents) the new passport from Madagascar I was able to go back to Hong Kong one week later.
well don't forget to watch the pics just clic on the photos ;)
ciao

SHANGHAI
Hello
After one and half hour flight and one nearly one hour delay we finally arrive to Putong airport in Shanghai.
We took the Maglev to go in the centre and afterward the subway and finally the taxi to get to my cousin house. Because of the delay and time we took to go to the house we loose all the afternoon time…
So the night we went to the Bund and walked along the Nanjing road as it was th
e 31st the roads were crowded. The worst is when we wanted to go back home. Everybody wants a taxi of course and there is no special place to wait taxis…It was the rush for each free taxi, people stand in the middle of the roads to hire a taxi…….
Finally we get one but then he took a very long time before finding the place ….mmmhhh very long night!!
So after that we decided to take a hotel near the city it’s more convenient.
Shanghai is really different from Beijing. There are no special things for sighting
We went to the copy markets which are next to real brand shops…some temples and roads with restored old houses which are used as shops, restaurant…..
The old city is quite nice with old Chinese building
Otherwise there is the Xintiendi also restored old houses but more club bar restaurant… in short a place for going out the night.
We went to a place called ARK were Asian group play the night and this time it was a Japanese group and a Chinese one. It was really nice.
Of course we also went to several good restaurants: Shanghainese, Sichuanese (very spicy)
Well in a short word, we can not say that we didn’t have good food in china lol
Ciao

Beijing
Hello
First best wishes for the New Year, Happy New Year
So Beijing
It was awesome in spite of the cold weather…
We had a very nice hotel in the centre of Beijing and….ok watch the photos

We spent 4 days there: Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the great wall in Badaling…..
Well 4 days it’s not enough but for the main things it’s ok
Otherwise what else...
Grub of course!!
We have been in very good restaurant and the food was great: Beijing Duck (we took one duck for 2 and at the end it was quite difficult to move lol. It was really good)
We also went to other traditional Beijing restaurant, the noodle king lol, a Tibetan restaurant and some Beijing dumpling….so also a little gastronomic trip
It was roughly our trip in Beijing don’t forget to watch the photos!!!
